Who may use Watanli

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States or Canada. Login codes go only to United States and Canada phone numbers. You may have one account, and a phone number can belong to one account only.

Your account and verification

You join with an email address or a phone number. Anything that affects another member, such as posting, bidding, revealing a contact, writing a review or sponsoring a business abroad, needs a phone number verified once on your account. Pros must have a government ID approved by a moderator before their first bid. You are responsible for what happens under your account; keep your login codes to yourself and log out of devices you no longer use from My account.

Community rules

The community rules are part of these terms. In short: be honest, pay each other directly, show up, respect everyone, do not collect other members' contact details, and report what looks wrong.

Listings and content

Post only real jobs, real businesses, real services, real events and real items that you have the right to offer. Not allowed: visa or immigration guarantees, fees to apply for a job, requests for identity documents before an interview, money transfer, hawala, sarafi or exchange services, weapons, stolen goods, sexual content, anything illegal where you or the reader live, and phone numbers or contact details typed into the text instead of the contact fields.

You keep ownership of what you post and give Watanli permission to show it on the site, in search and in the weekly email for as long as it is live. A moderator may hold, hide or remove any post. Watanli is free for members. Businesses may pay a small fixed fee for their listings once billing starts; we say so on the post form before anything is charged.

Bids, bookings and payment

When you post a request, pros send bids and you choose one. That creates a booking between the two of you. Payment is made directly between members, in cash or however you agree. Watanli never receives, holds or transfers money between members and is not a party to your deal.

If you accept a booking and cancel less than 24 hours before the agreed time, or do not show up, the other side can report it. A moderator reviews every report before any penalty. A strike brings a 30 day suspension; a second strike within 12 months closes the account. After a completed booking the customer and the pro rate each other, and after a sale the buyer and the seller rate each other.

Reviews and ratings

Reviews are written only after a real interaction: a completed booking, a sale marked to a member, or a contact reveal within the last 90 days. Write about your own experience, truthfully. The person reviewed may reply once, publicly. Any member can report a review. Moderators can hide a review that breaks the rules but never change a score. Paid, traded or fake reviews are a scam under these terms.

Contact details

Contact details are shown to logged in members one at a time, and every reveal is recorded with your account, the listing and the time. The limit is 20 reveals a day. Collecting numbers, sending unwanted marketing, or passing details to anyone outside Watanli breaks these terms and is a reason to close your account.

Moderation and appeals

Automated filters flag scams, abusive language and explicit photos; a person makes every decision. The first post from a new account is held until a moderator approves it, and three reports hide a post until a moderator looks. If you think a decision about your post or your account was wrong, write to [email protected] and say what happened. A person will look again and answer you.

Closing an account

You can stop using Watanli at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community rules, that we believe is used for fraud, or that belongs to a banned person, and we can remove its listings. A banned person may not return under another account; the identity fingerprint described in the privacy notice is how we enforce this.

Abroad listings

The Abroad tab is classified advertising for businesses in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. These businesses are outside North America, and these extra terms apply to every one of them.

Watanli does not process payments for abroad listings, does not hold money and cannot recover money you send. Anything you buy from a business abroad is a deal between you and that business, under the laws of that country. Pay in stages and never pay the full amount before you have received the goods or the service.

Every abroad listing is sponsored by a Watanli member in the United States or Canada who has a verified phone and an approved government ID. The sponsor owns the listing, appears on it by first name and area, and answers for it: if a moderator upholds a report that the business cheated a member, the sponsor takes the strike or the ban.

These can never be listed: money transfer, hawala, sarafi and currency exchange; crypto and escrow; visa, immigration, asylum, sponsorship, scholarship and case services; passport and tazkira brokers; onward travel or smuggling; antiques; weapons; medicines for shipping; charities and fundraising; land investment schemes; anything government or state owned; and any business in Iran.

A listing on the Abroad tab is not an endorsement by Watanli. The label "documents reviewed" means a moderator looked at a licence or registration, a photo of the premises and a local phone number on a given date; "documents and video reviewed" means a moderator also spoke to the owner on a video call. Neither label is a guarantee of the business, its goods, its prices or its honesty, and neither means Watanli has checked it in any other way.

You are responsible for customs, import rules and taxes on anything shipped to you.

Disclaimers

Watanli is a place where members find each other. We do not check the jobs, businesses, pros, items or events that members post, except where this page says a moderator reviewed a document. Pros are not our employees, we are not the employer for any job, and we are not a party to any deal. Watanli is provided as it is and as it is available; we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.

Limit of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Watanli and the people who run it are not liable for any loss that comes from a deal, a job, a booking or a purchase between members, from something a member posted, or from a business abroad, and our total liability to you for anything connected with Watanli is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow limits like this, so part of it may not apply to you.

Copyright complaints

If something on Watanli copies your work, email [email protected] with the link, proof that it is yours and your contact details; we remove infringing material.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes are heard in the courts of Santa Clara County, California. [Counsel to confirm governing law and venue]

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes and, for an important change, we tell members by email or a notice on the site. Using Watanli after a change means you accept the new terms. This version is effective September 14, 2026.
